Hair fashion trends autumn 2019

Published on 13 October 2019 at 20:35

Everything that the word 'statement' stands for is becoming a trend nowadays. From dividing your hair in the middle with a Peek-a-Boo effect to the sturdy Norwegian braids, these are some of the popular hair trends that you will see more often on the street. This autumn of 2019 you can make your wildest hair-fantasies come true and make a statement with one of these hairfashiontrends:

Each new season is characterized by new hair trends. We keep coming up with something new every time because and we like to be part of it because we can inspire others. The autumn of 2019 is all about easy hairstyles with a playful twist that can also be worn classy in a hand turn.

1. Low ponytails

The first trend that broke through this year was the low ponytail. The trend started this year as a low glossy ponytail on the catwalks.

This requires good hair care with a mask beforehand.

Styling:

Tip: to dry your hair, use Malibu Cream from Glynt's smoothing product line Smooth.

When dry, comb the hair with a brush, collect the base of the tail at the bottom of your head at your hairline and bind it with a hair elastic on a tight tail. You can also use a straightener to make the tail extra smooth for a glamorous effect.

The intense shine of this ponytail makes it an elegant hairstyle to wear when going out.

2. A low-side parting

Where the summer was dominated by the middle parting with a Peek-A-Boo effect, the low-side parting will make its comeback this autumn.

The low side parting ensures that your hairstyle gets a that classy '60s feel.

Styling:

Try to give your hair a Peek-A-Boo twist, framing your face,  with a style or curling iron from your face outwards to the back.

A low-side parting is nice to wear in combination with a few elegant Fingerwaves with your curl or straightener and fixate your creation with Mistral Build-up hairspray from the spray's series of Glynt so you look va-va-voom to make an unforgettable impression.

3. Tough Norwegian braid

Trends that we take with us from summer to autumn are buns and Norwegian braids.

We come across braids in all possible versions, but it has to have a nice loosely and easy effect. Loose strands emphasize that effect.

Styling:

It's nice when you first put a few colour accents in your hair. This can be done with a face-frame coloring on both sides so that your hair has a symmetrical color effect, even from a middle parting. If you braid your hair into it, these different accents will give a nice depth colour effect in your braid.

Female Norwegian toughness worn in your free time or at work but when, twisted and fastened with pins on the back of your head, you can create a classy impression of an classy evening hairstyle.

Another trend that we take with us to the autumn of 2019 is the Long bob. Symbolized a grown-out Bob that touches the shoulders.

With a mid-parting you can add some waves around your face with a curl or straightener.

Styling:

Before you start drying your hair, use some Velvet-Mousse from Glynt's Setting series so that your hair can hold your waves all day long and fix it with Mistral build-up Spray from Glynt's Spray series.

With a Lob, a faceframe coloring is very nice, which you then curl out from your mid parting with a Peek-A-Boo effect and give your hair an extra playful bohemian fashion statement.

5. Playfull curls with volume

Yeah, you read it right, curls are all the way back. The wild beach look-waves we leave in 2019, in 2020 it's curltime!

Where some of my customers have already taken the step to perm their hair this year, this means that you don't have to make your natural curls straight any more. Curls are now completely trendy to show.

Cut into layers, the volume has to be balanced. By cutting with the freehand Curl-Sys cutting technique, all curls are cut in different lengths for extra volume and playful uneven effects.

Perms cannot be booked online. You can book an consultative appointment for this treatment.

Together we will first discuss all the advantages and disadvantages that a perm involves.

Perming is an intensive treatment with a deep impact on the hair. This requires discipline when it comes to maintenance and aftercare products with a specially composed haircare package of professional Sulfate & Silicone free hair care.

6. Trendwatching 2020 BIG HAIR, don't care!

The most striking hair trend expected for 2020 is the return of good old times Retro Big hair.

With rollers under a caphairdryer, hot curling irons, backcombing and a lot of hairspray for an over the top volume retro hairstyle rough and not too neat but the bigger the better!

Models with large backcombed retro haistyles with mega volumes were already hopping over the different catwalks earlier this year.

Striking were the big-hair retro hairstyles at the Moschino Fashion show fall/Winter 2019/2020!

This year I also got an arder to create a Big-hair style on Naomi Grunning for the photo shoot of the opening party of her new office SUPERMINDS

Will more women start presenting themselves like a red-carpet star in 2020 with an unmatchable Glamslam statement for a night out?

Will Big-Hair turn into a real "INVOGUE" hair trend in  2020? Of course that depends on you diva's. But as your stylist I'm totally in love with it allready.
